Ahhh ladies…come gather round and feast your eyes on possibly the only bag that you will ever need (…well maybe).  Made like the old world traveler’s luggage (think Louis Vuitton, Gucci, BV), with rich luxurious leather so smooth and supple you just want to caress it all day.  It has that rich leather smell that no new car smell can surpass (okay maybe I’m pushing it..).  Alas for me, I think this is quite possibly the most beautiful bag that Longchamp has made - the Cosmos Handbag.   It’s the perfect shape with large zippered opening at top, a wide bottom, and soft rolled handles so it can lug your daily goodies around in chic style.

Its warm rich, cognac color, will match more of your wardrobe than you’d think. New to the Cosmos collection, this elongated style takes shape of an old doctor’s bag, a classic that transcends fashion fads.  I don’t know if it’s love or if it’s lust, but this is defintely one the bags that I need in my life and it’ll stay with me for a very, very long time. In honor of Longchamp‘s 60th birthday and official transition into senior citizenism, they introduced the LM Collection.  With the illusion that the pattern is tattooed onto the leather and nylon, it really brings a youthful feel to the collection.  Literally standing for “Longchamp Motif” the LM pattern features cross hatching with the signature horse logo and is available on both patent and smooth leather.

For Spring 2009, they brought some fun into the collection by introducing LM Nylon.  Now the cross hatch pattern is available as a silk screen on their renowned Le Pliage nylon in three fabulously summery shades (peony pink, atlantic blue and paper).   I think they make a perfect summer companion for the beach, pool, or even a round of mini golf!
