Every tequila has its own “flavor mark” left on the palate, and the dance of a shot Alma del Jaguar matured with the rhythm of the music on the palate is truly perfect.
Premium tequila, which is among the first choices with its unique taste, has two varieties: Reposado and Blanco. The Anejo variety will be released soon.
The final blend consists of 80% wild yeast for a complex flavor and 20% champagne yeast for a subtle sweetness.
Agave piñas are baked in brick ovens for 54 hours and then passed through a roller mill. During outdoor fermentation, the distillery plays classical music to help move the yeast.
Each tequila ferment is double distilled in handcrafted Mexican copper stills and bottled by hand.
Distilled from 100% blue weber agave, the spirit is unaged and clear. It is bottled immediately after distillation. Sometimes it is aged in stainless steel for around 60 days.
For a more complex flavor, Alma Del Jaguar’s Reposado variety is aged in two stages: two months in American White Oak and one month in French Oak.
The tasting note left by Blanco on the palate is citrus and peppery.
Reposado’s recipe includes cognac, agave, caramel, vanilla and sweet orange.
Complying with the pure tequila trend, Alma del Jaguar has a delicious shot. Since it does not contain artificial flavors such as sugar syrup or glucose, it adds a quality touch to cocktails.
The drink, which has an alcohol content of 40%, also portrays an environmentally responsible image.
The brand, which donates part of its income to helping protect wild jaguars, uses recycled products for bottles and corks. It supports domestic production by procuring labels from domestic suppliers.
