Virgin Media has launched an interactive tool called Movie Mapper, which reveals various towns and villages outside London that are home to famous film scenes. The brainchild of Virgin Media, this map shows the places that brought iconic film moments to life. Users; can search for movies or filming locations via a search box; can explore by genre, cast or region using drop-down menus.
Virgin Media O2’s CEO of TV and Entertainment, David Bushier, shared that Movie Mapper complements Virgin TV’s navigation, allowing movie buffs to immerse themselves in their favorite movies and plan visits to off-screen destinations.
When you click on the preview, the map provides information about the details of the movie, such as release date, rating, duration, shooting locations and cast.
While Birmingham is home to Ready Player One and Brassed Off; Manchester saw the filming of Morbius and 24 Hour Party People. Edinburgh hosted Trainspotting and Fast and Furious 9’s “Dom Chasing Jakob” scene, while the small Scottish town of Aviemore saw the filming of Mary Queen of Scots and James Bond: No Time to Die.

Harry Potter series; He used various locations in England, including the Dursley’s house in Bracknell, Hogsmeade in Lacock and Glenfinnan Bridge.
Also the new Wonka movie; Warner Bros. in Bath, Oxford, London and Leavesden, Watford. He used impressive sets and CGI (computer generated imagery) techniques, using parts of his studios.
Although the map is only limited to the United Kingdom yet, it is estimated that sets in other parts of the world will be added to the application over time. to the map from here you can reach.
